Deb: Day ???

Back in the groove after a 5 day hiatus... 4 days in Iowa City and 1
day of recovery after a VERY long travel day with Eli on Sunday.

As far as my goals for the weekend went:
I did not have to stay in the hotel room all weekend with Eli - he
managed the many schedule changes fairly well and wasn't too much of a
handful until the last flight on Sunday.
I ate relatively well on the weekend, although I did splurge on
crunchy french toast on Sunday morning.
I did not exercise Friday morning per se... Eli slept like crap the
night before and I couldn't muster up the energy. But I did haul him
all over the place during the weekend, so I figure that is kind of
like exercise.

The good news... I've lost 3+ pounds and I blew dry my hair today.
It's the small things, right?

The bad news... on a regular practice day, Josh doesn't get home until
7pm or later. Which means I start getting VERY hungry and tempted by
snacking between 4:30pm and 6:30 pm. I need to figure this out!

Had Boot Camp this morning - only 2 more days (Wed and Fri) until I
need a plan B. I am motivated by the 3 lbs I lost and really want to
keep exercising.

This week's fun activities ... Kindermusick Wednesday morning and 9
month pediatrician appointment on Thursday morning (where we find out
that Eli probably weighs close to 30 pounds)!

I here Kindermusik is really fun. Congratulations on the weight loss!

As far as snacks in that time frame: try a snack that's 100 calories or less--whatever you like. I always feel if I try to force myself not to eat that's all I can think about.

Your plan b: have you looked at any gyms? We're going to join an inexpensive health club that offers free childcare for the winter. Good luck in your search. Do you like workout videos?
