Gina: Day 18 and 19

Thursday:

No big slip ups, but I did have a glass of sweet tea.  I felt much better after my day of rest.  I did my plyos video and core syn.  I felt awesome working out.  I also took all the boys on a 20 min. walk. 

Friday:

Haven't jogged or lifted yet, but it's on the horizon.  I'm a little worried b/c I feel really tired after my sleepless night, and I'm not sure how I'll feel from all the novocaine.

Update:  I ran for 40 minutes (this is a personal record, I think--I can't remember ever running that long).  I also did my leg exercises. 

I ate too much at dinner.  It was just so good.  I also had a half a glass of wine.  I made a yummy comfort food casserole.  I shredded chicken and added some cooked veggies (squash, red peppers, onions, celery, and corn).  I shredded some french bread and put it on top and covered it with a sauce I made out of a little butter and flour, sour cream, cream cheese, and chicken broth.  Then I covered it with a few potato chips and butter--probably a bad finish, but it was so good.  Colin even liked it.
