Gina: Day 8

Exercise:
Too tired to run this morning, so nothing so far, but I did play w/ C for over an hour at the park (so I stood and moved during that time at least).  Ran 30 min during C's nap b/c Scott was working from home.   That's right I ran for 30 min then walked 17.  I was in survival shuffle mode part of the time, but I was determined to push myself for an improvement from last week, and b/c I didn't need to rush home.  (I'm pretty sure 45 min is all I've ever ran even at my fittest, so here's a goal to push toward).  Felt pretty good other than the desire to vomit the entire walk back home.  Then I did my shoulder, biceps, triceps workout and some abs--about 35 min. 

Took leisurely walk down the block w/the fam to pay our rent (landlords live on our street).  C saw men playing soccer at the junior high, so we walked down and watched for 10-15 min sitting in the grass enjoying one another and the beautiful night.  We also ate dinner outside, which we love when it's nice.



Food:
Bfast: 382 cals
1 piece of toast: 35 cals (low cal/carb bread is my friend)
2 eggs w/mozzy: 175 cals
8 oz milk: 80 cals
2 links sausage: 92 cals
1 c coffee: 0 cals

Lunch: 380
PB&J sandwich w/only 1 T of pb: 180 cals
peas: 70
carrots: 30
a handful of chips: 100 cals or less

Snack: 200 calories or so
leftover veggies (finally put these to bed) and a cheese stick

Dinner: 400 calories
Ham steak w/honey mustard-pineapple sauce, turnip greens w/onions and orange bell peppers, and cornbread.
Total Calories: 1400 (I feel like I'm missing something here b/c I could have sworn I had counted 1600 last night)

Cosmetic:
Still haven't showered yet, so liklihood of a blowdry is bleak.  Did shower after workout, but didn't blowdry

Spiritual:
prayer and read my Bible last night

Emotional:
Forced myself to make small talk w/2 random moms while our kids played at the playground--the walk was great, too.  Colin was a blast today.
