Health Goals:
Pros:
I took the dogs and the boy for a walk (32 min/2 mi.) this morning. I made myself ride my bike (stationary) for 32 min (sweated my bullocks off doing the walk and ride). I didn't manage to wake up early to ride my bike, but still worked it into my day.
Only drank water and coffee (plus one glass of wine--ouch)
Did a pretty good job on balancing my calorie intake/use to equal 1200 calories (I think I might have been 100 calories over, but that's pretty close). This is what the doctor advised me for losing weight. I ate more than 1200 calories, but burned off the excess in exercise to bring it to about 1200.
Cons:
One glass of wine, but not really sure this is a con since this is my first alcohol of the week--no more this week to meet my goal of reducing my intake.
Considered blow drying my hair since I went shopping by myself this pm to get some new w/o clothes and a book. Decided it was just too damn hot/humid to be worth it. I think this was a wise decision though it didn't bring me closer to my goal.
Getting Colin to bed kind of late, means we will stay up too late. Argh!
Tomorrow: gotta get my butt out of bed early to jog--it's too hot to wait past 7 am.
Spiritual/mental goals:
read my Bible the last 2 nights and said a short prayer. Bought Mere Christianity to read. I'm probably one of the only people I know (excluding Scott) who hasn't read the book. It was an ongoing joke in our last small group that everyone knew Scott wasn't going to read the material.
I really need to clean my house--it's picked up, but it needs a cleaning. Not motivated to do this, but hoping I'll get it done Thursday. Also need to finish a bag I've been sewing (not finishing) for 3 weeks. I need to finish it, so I'm not procrasting about too many things.
