Can you believe we are almost 10 days in? A third of the month almost gone. Whoo-hoo!
Exercise:
I got up early (dragged my large butt out of bed against all my desire). I did the majority of a 50 min. Spinervals DVD on my training bike. I have trouble getting my bike into it's hardest gear on the trainer sometimes (something w/the tension I guess), so I did the best I could. I went 40 min I think. It was challenging, but doable. I didn't have enough gas to do the last cycle of sprints at 80/90/100% effort--seriously? At the end of the workout? Does he think I'm a professional athlete? The video was challenging, and I'm sure I'll be sore. I feel like I better get in a walk though as he gave a lot of recovery time (I think 10 min worth at least).
Unfortunately we are stuck at home waiting for the diswasher repair person--they wouldn't give me a general time range. They'll probably come at the end of the day w/my luck after entertaining a very bored little boy all day. He's bored already and it's 9:15 am. Update: played outside for an hour, then we made cupcakes, then had a dance party in his room followed by racing cars (his mood has vastly improved)
Food:
Breakfast: 300 calories
Cereal: I had a serving and a half, so almost 300 cals and a cup of coffee. Going to try to really watch my food intake today.
Lunch: 480 calories?
Leftover ham steak (part of one), part of a piece of cornbread and leftover veggie potato mix (from Sun dinner)
Snack: 250
Chocolate cupcake w/a little Hershey's syrup
Dinner: 450
slated for turkey burgers and stir fried veggies and leftover beans (do you see a theme here?--I didn't eat the beans last night, but Colin and Scott did)
Total: 1480? Just an estimate
Spiritual:
Read my Bible and had a short prayer time
Cosmetic/Emotional:
Did not blowdry my hair--stuck at home. Was intentional with C for over 2 hours. Hard work, but fun! He loved making the cupcakes and couldn't wait to eat them. He loved licking the spoons.
