I suck.
Not really. But I have been trying to do this Couch to 5K program and
I have hit a few roadblocks.
Roadblock #!: It is only 3 days a week. Which doesn't seem like
enough to me. Although 3 days a week has been all I can manage since
boot camp ended. Because I suck.
Roadblock #2: Josh has been up late working. A lot. One of his new
responsibilities this year is to break down film of opponents'
matches. It is time consuming and he often brings it home with him to
finish after Eli goes to bed. And for whatever reason, I don't like
to go to bed by myself or if I do, I rarely fall asleep until he comes
to bed. So I am up late, too. Which makes it EXTREMELY difficult for
me to get up at 6am to go run. Because I suck.
So.
Next week is the beginning of October.
New month. New plan.
I am going to do the 3 days of running with the C25K program on my
phone. This will likely be Tues, Wed, Fri.
The other days I am going to do Jillian Michael's 30 day shred video
during Eli's morning nap. I rarely get to shower before this anyway,
so I might as well take 20 min to workout and then shower.
I'll take Sunday off. And hopefully ONLY Sunday.
I am going to try to do this for 4 weeks and see where I stand.
In other news...
I have been MUCH better about cooking at home. Money is really tight
so I need to be disciplined about this.
My haircut is starting to grow out which makes me not like it as much
and so the pony tail is making frequent appearances.
Doing a new kind of Bible study at church this fall, stemming out of a
'read the Bible in a year' reading plan. Even though I am not the
leader of said study, the personalities of the group makes the
discussion kind of dependent on me. Translation: I'm the only one
who talks. Boo.

I'm sort of in the same mindset. I'm just trying to muddle through this week and next week (workin gout each day hopefully)and restart the month of October w/new vigor.
I like the Jillian Michaels videos--I have the 30 day shred video. Sometimes her stuff hurts my wrists b/c she gets up and down on the floor in push up positions really fast and with impact. I have to be careful w/her, but I think she brings results, and she's not a time sucker.
