Tuesday I did go to the gym and get in my run. It was hard--I was struggled, but I did it. This girl got on the treadmill next to me about half way through my 30 min/3 mile run, smelling of peppermint. It was all I could think about for the 10 minutes she ran. I could barely breathe for it. Note to self: don't wear smelly lotions, perfume, lip balm, or anything else scented (no matter how seemingly pleasant the smell) to the gym. Yuck!!!!
Last night I went to a 45 min spinning class. Right after I went for a 10 min run on the treadmill. I slowed my normal pace down .5 MPH until the last 2 minutes when I cranked it up 1.5 MPH faster than my normal cadence. I felt like a bit of a bad ass running after my spin. As soon as I got home I took 600 mg of Ibuprofen b/c my calves were screaming. Maybe not so much of a bad ass. Did good with my calories yesterday.
Today I've done pretty well so far. I haven't exercised yet, but I'm going to Cardio Kick with a girlfriend at 5:25. This girl's class is so hard. My shoulders and hip will be killing me.
You should look for a moms group in Athens through Meetup.com. That's where I found mine, and I love it. I also go to MOPS which you would like as well I think.
